My Horsefeathers Projects; Earthship My quest for oneness with the land I live on

The Horsefeathers Project is an ongoing experiment proving and at times disproving concepts and designs. The designs and concepts that most interest me,  in this one project, are the ones that relate to sustainable and renewable and reusable in nature. One such concept is the earthship building design. This design uses of all things used car and truck tires as building materials.  I have taken this to another level.  Because of the high fire danger I felt building underground or nestled into the hillside with a covering of dirt over the roof and with a natural stone veneer.
